October’s rapidly zipping by, and hard to believe it’s almost mid-month. We’re back to the swing of things again.
Today’s lunch is:
Grilled wings, braised in a teriyaki and ginger marinade – broccoli was also braised in the same marinade
Steamed okra with ponzu dressing
Steamed multigrain rice (brown rice, sprouted rice, millet, quinoa, barley, wheat berries) mixed with black ground sesame seeds and a little salt
Sliced fresh red peppers from our garden, and carrot sticks
I broke the lid of one of my bento boxes, so I was a bit saddened. Thankfully, I have another one that I will be a bit more gentle with!
