I finally got my wits together to set the rice cooker timer. I found organic white rice (a hefty investment, but one that we enjoy veeeeery slowly) and mixed it with my usual multi-grain rice mix 1:1. Today, we have mini-onigiri – I’m still experimenting with size and volume of food.
Roasted beets in star shapes
Turnip and celery marinated in soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and a sprinkle of black sesame seeds
Baked chicken thighs, deboned
Mini onigiri – white + multi-grain mix, wrapped in nori, sprinkled with black sesame seeds
Another gorgeous spring day – the girls and I had our first bunny sighting.
Hopefully Mr. Rabbit hasn’t found all our bulbs we planted last fall!!
